How do I know if I need therapy?

It is our opinion that if you think therapy might be helpful for you in any way then it is worth giving it a try! People come to therapy for all different reasons in all different seasons of their life. Whether you have a specific challenge you are looking for support with, you have something about your life you are unhappy with, or you just want to learn more about who you are and where you might be going, therapy can be helpful. There is no wrong reason to begin therapy, and it is always a good time to give it a try.

Why doesn’t Trezza Counseling Group LLC accept insurance?

Currently, Trezza Counseling Group LLC does accept Husky! Mental Health Counseling services are free for Husky members, and you will not need to pay a co-pay or any out of pocket fees as a member of Husky insurance. By not accepting insurance we are not required to provide a diagnosis in order to conduct treatment and we will not be limited to a predetermined number of sessions set forth by insurance companies. However, Superbills can be provided upon request for out of network reimbursement. 

What happens if I miss my session, need to cancel my session, or need to reschedule my session?

If clients need to reschedule or cancel their session, Trezza Counseling Group LLC asks that they provide 24 hours notice. In the case of an emergency, clients may not have 24 hours notice to give the therapist, and this is completely understandable. In these cases, we just ask that clients provide as much notice as possible. If clients do not provide appropriate notice or just do not show for their session, they will be charged 100% of the agreed upon session fee.

What if I do not live in CT or NY? 

Unfortunately, we are currently only able to provide services to residents of Connecticut or New York. We will be working to provide services to Florida residents shortly.
